Code with Sabin is a fun, hands-on way for kids to learn programming and artificial intelligence by building real projects, not just watching videos.
I want kids to go from using apps to making them. Code with Sabin teaches programming and AI through games, challenges, and projects they can show their friends.
Every lesson ends with something that works: a game, a bot, or an app. Learning sticks when it feels like play.
Kids run AI models locally, see how they work, and build their own AI-powered projects safely and privately.
Each learner builds a portfolio of projects and presents them at a demo day.
Before opening to more students, I'm running a family pilot to test the curriculum, find out what keeps kids excited, and refine every lesson. Here's the plan:
Logic, loops, functions, and problem-solving with Python.
Turn ideas into things people can click and play.
Run open-source AI models on a local machine to learn what's under the hood.
The kids present their projects. Lessons learned become the public Code with Sabin curriculum.
I'm a software engineer in Las Vegas with 12+ years of full-stack experience. By day, I'm a Senior Programmer Analyst building and running production systems for the Las Vegas Justice Court. Outside work, I build side projects, study AI, and now want to pass what I know on to the next generation.
The AI Lab phase needs a machine that can run real AI models locally. My current computer can only handle small models. A hardware sponsorship would unlock the most exciting part of the program for the kids and for my own AI research.
